Is Your Moon Water Safe to Drink?

Do you make your own Moon Water?

If you do, odds are you’re mindful of the quality of the water you use.

Are you equally mindful of the items you add to enhance your water?

Before we dive into enhancing our Moon Water, let’s start at the beginning.

Let’s talk about the moon, water, and then Moon Water.

The Moon:

From a metaphysical viewpoint, the moon represents the divine feminine in all of us; that is parenting, femininity, nourishment, subconscious, feelings, emotions, mothers, women, cycles.

The full moon represents closure and endings; of cycles, habits, relationships, stagnant energy. With the release of these, we must be ready to fill the void it leaves; so we create intentions to do so.

Water:

We need water to live; we can possibly survive three (3) days without water.

Beyond survival, the quality of water is the second most important element in our continued existence.

We know if we drink tainted water (by chemicals), we will get sick and/or die.

What if the water we ingest is tainted by our thoughts or intentions?

Dr. Masaru Emoto was the Japanese scientist who wrote the book, Hidden Messages in Water (Emoto, 2005). His best selling book brought to the public’s attention the idea that our thoughts and intentions impact our physical realm through water.

Dr. Emoto conducted experiments with frozen water molecules documenting how they reacted when they were exposed to certain words; love, you disgust me, eternal, peace, evil, and thank you. 

The higher vibrational words, ‘love’, ‘eternal’, ‘peace’, ‘thank you' produced intricately beautiful crystals. The lower vibrational words, ‘you disgust me’, ‘evil’ were discolored and misshapen, and they did not resemble crystals or snowflakes.

Moon Water:

We will harness the powerful energies of the full moon as we charge our water in its light, AND we will speak our words of intention into the water to imbue it with these qualities we will manifest.

We, human beings, are at least 60% water. As Dr. Emoto documents, water retains the memory of the words being said and reacts based on the vibrational level. What is your internal dialogue? What would your water molecules look like?

Not All Crystals are Made Equal

It is your responsibility to do the research on all the ingredients you put into your elixirs and creations.

Some crystals are toxic, some need special handling for use in your creations.

Let’s Make Moon Water for Drinking:

You will need physical supplies and a written statement of your intentions you will manifest. 

Quality of Your Supplies:

• Water: Please use filtered water or water suitable to drink.

• Glass Container with Lid: I use Mason Jars.

  • Ensure you wash it with soap and water and rinse thoroughly.

• Clear Quartz Crystal(s): Judge the size of your crystal to the size of your container. Add more as needed. These will be placed in your water.

  • You must cleanse your crystal under running water for undesired energetic properties and to remove crystal dust.

Process (day of the full moon):

• After you have washed and dried your glass container, pour half of your water in. Gently place your cleansed clear quartz crystal(s) into the container connecting to the crystals and to Source for the best possible outcome.

  • Fill the rest of the container with the remaining water.

• State your prepared intentions into the water, and secure the lid.

• If you can, prepare an altar for your container.

• Call in your helping spirits to keep the space protected and blessed.

• Place your container into the full moon’s energies as close to the peak of the full moon as possible.

  • Your container may be inside as long as it is in the moon’s energies.

• Connect to the moon’s energies, your intentions, and the power of the clear quartz crystal, Master Healer, so all will be fused as one.

  • Disconnect giving thanks to your helping spirits.

The Next Day & Storing Your Moon Water

• Retrieve your container and remove the crystals.

• Keep your Moon Water out of sunlight.

Uses of Moon Water

• Use it in ceremonies and rituals; create ritual sprays for your altar or to anoint your body, 

• Make tea or other beverages

• Use it to clean.

• Spray your plants with moon water.
